The name 'Cohiba' derives from the word for tobacco used by the indigenous people of Hispaniola during Christopher Columbus' second visit to the New World. As one of the most recognized names in the industry, Cohiba cigars are essential, and hardly need an introduction. This medium-bodied smoke has a Cameroon wrapper on top of an Indonesian binder containing premium Dominican filler, and features immaculate construction worthy of the respect it receives. Creamy notes of cedar, almonds, and the slightest touch of spice round out the experience of smoking one of the most classic cigars ever rolled.
- Cigar Origin - Dominican Republic - Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

- Wrapper - Cameroon - The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Cameroon wrappers are grown in the East part of the country. The growing area spreads over the eastern border, into the Central African Republic. The seed is originally from Sumatra, introduced in the country just after WWII.

- Binder - Indonesia - The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Tobacco is grown in many islands of the Archipelago but, as far as cigars are concerned, Sumatra and Java are the ones. Sumatra Wrappers are worldwide known. Central Java (Vorstenland) and East Java (Besuki) give fillers and wrappers in abundance. Indonesia is a key country for cigar tobacco.

The blend uses proprietary tobacco that comes from Jamastran and La Entrada in Honduras, as well as Esteli and Condega in Nicaragua. These are top premium tobacco growing regions in their respective countries. Prior to the Serie M’s release, non-Cuban Cohiba cigars, which were first rolled in the 1980s, have been made in Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The Serie M is hand crafted at the globally recognized El Titan de Bronze, which is a family-owned cigar factory located in the historic Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The factory’s cigar crafters create the cigars from start to finish, which unlike other factories that assemble the cigars in teams. Once rolled and boxed, the cigarmakers’ names are put on the boxes. The line features a fusion of modern tastes, classic Cuban seed, and and quality construction.

- Like a vintage wine, tobacco only gets better with time. The Cohiba Spectre is what happens when fine tobacco is allowed to age properly. Starting with the filler. At its center is a Dominican Piloto Cubano leaf which has been aged when it was harvested in 1995. It is surrounded by a variety of leaves from Estelí, Nicaragua that have been aged from 2011 – 2014 in Spanish sherry barrels. The filler is completed with Honduran leaves from three distinct regions: Olancho San Agustin, aged since 2002, Jamastran Valley, and La Entrada, both aged since 2011. All of it is draped by a reddish Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. But that’s not enough! Keeping with the aging theme, the Cohiba Spectre is handmade by a single buncher and a single roller both with a combined experience that spans five decades. The Cohiba Spectre is a medium-strength premium cigar that will definitely make a timeless addition to the most discerning aficionado’s humidor. - Cigar Origin - Nicaragua - Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. - The Weller by Cohiba is a potent yet flavorful premium cigar whose blend was created in collaboration with the makers of Weller 12 Year Bourbon, which is a smooth, balanced wheated bourbon. The cigar is blended using a filler made of Nicaraguan leaves from Esteli and Ometepe combined with Dominican Piloto Cubano tobacco. This awesome blend is then sheathed by a Habano-seed Connecticut binder and a Honduran maduro wrapper that has been aged for seven years. Once rolled, the cigar is placed in glass tubes to preserve the flavor. The Weller by Cohiba is handmade in Honduras.
