Crowned Heads is known all around the world for their eloquent boutique offerings, but the Crowned Heads Yellow Rose has a much more specific territory. Named after a folk song from the early 1800s named 'The Yellow Rose of Texas', this Nicaraguan box-pressed torpedo is made at the renowned My Father Cigars factory in Esteli and is produced only for the Lone Star state, using a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper on top of premium Nicaraguan binder and fillers for a rich taste proverbially as big as Texas. Although Crowned Heads allows one day a year for retailers nationwide to purchase this regional release, it remains extremely limited, and should be enjoyed as such.

The eyes of Texas are upon this high quality smoke. Peppery and spicy and sweet throughout with a nice draw and burn. Smoked it with the Tennessee Waltz which made a nice compliment to it. Now if I can only get my hands on a Buckeye...

fantastic cigar from CH, as expected. starts of with a red pepper kick. dials back into bright leather, charred oak, dusty earth. as the cigar progresses you get a touch of dark roast coffee and cocoa and even a bit of herbal/mint.
