Since its inception in 2011, HVC has produced a number of quality, Cuban-inspired premium cigars, but only once before have they released a Special Edition (Edicion Especial), back in the year 2015. While there is no telling on how often these exclusive sticks will see the light of day, what you CAN bet on is the supreme flavor they offer! The HVC Edicion Especial 2018 features a shiny Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrapper draped over a Nicaraguan binder and specially aged Nicaraguan filler that marry one another perfectly to provide creamy, complex notes of pepper, chocolate, and earth. With its limited shelf life and the wavering uncertainty of when, or if, it will be back, it is advised that you stock up on this rare gem while they're still around.
Cigar Origin
Nicaragua
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.
