About: Patoro Gran Anejo Reserva Toro 6" * 50
I saw someone in this review give this cigar 3 stars and my jaw dropped. I have smoked 1000's of cigars and this is the best non-Cuban cigar I have ever smoked by far. Yes, it's expensive but it's more than well worth it. I have to say, dont let the 3 star review (still shaking my head) sway you in any way. This cigar is absolutely amazing. If I dont have a Cuban Montecristo #2 on hand, this is TOP DOG!!! Hands down. The Pappies of cigars.

This cigar is very well known in Europe, but not so much in the United States. That is why I chose this cigar to get the word out -- you do not know what you are missing. It is extremely smooth, and the flavor profile is very complex. This Patoro has been aged up to 8 years. This United States version has been tweaked a little from the European version -- it has a Habano wrapper instead of the original Connecticut wrapper but uses the same Dominican filler. Upon first light, some saltiness comes out but quickly shifts into sweet cedar notes. Into the second third, chocolate notes and a nutiness appear along with a slight spice. The cigar finishes with cocoa and chocolate and a nice earthiness. The construction was impeccable from start to finish. Treat yourself with this smoke - you will love the journey. Enjoy!!
