The Royal Return Queen’s Pearl is the second part of the fourth release of the ADVentura cigar brand. The brand is co-owned by Swiss sommelier Marcel Knobel and Henderson Ventura of Tabacalera William Ventura. The brand tells the fictional tale of ADVENTURA and McKay, two 15th century explorers, who set out on a quest to discover “the unknown pleasures of the world” with tobacco being one of them. The Royal Return Queen’s Pearl is composed of tobaccos that have been aged for five years. Once rolled, the cigars are aged for four months to allow their flavors to marry. The cigars are artfully hand crafted at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic.

A very straightforward but satisfying CT shade smoke. Started off a little spicy on the tongue, with a smooth woody flavor. Thin smoke texture. The woody flavor lasted pretty much the whole smoke, not a lot of other flavors at all. The spice died down but ramped up again towards the end. Flavors really didn't change much, making this a very straightforward wood flavor profile. Construction and burn were excellent. This reminded me a lot of the Davidoff No.2 / Signature, very easy smoke, didn't need to put a lot of thought into it. If you want a cheaper alternative to the mild Davidoffs, this is the one to smoke! Mild+ strength.

At the start you'll question what you're about to smoke, but everything blends nicely shortly there after and its a true adventure to smoke. Great in the morning with coffee. Excellent construction as always with ADV!
