The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamente cigar was developed by AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal, two of the cigar industry’s most highly regarded cigar makers. Originally, the blend was supposed to be used for the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua, but AJ and Rafael felt that, like a diamond in the rough, the blend needed more time. So, they tweaked it until finally they released this fine Nicaraguan puro that features a lush maduro wrapper made of a hybrid-seed tobacco grown in Jalapa, Nicaragua. This awesome capa covers a criollo binder from Ometepe and a filler from Esteli. This expertly crafted cigar and its unique blend showcases the fine tobaccos that are grown in Nicaragua. It truly is a jewel of a cigar that is a joy to behold as it is to smoke.

The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 Blue is part of this iconic brand’s Epic series. The filler consists of a Nicaraguan leaf blended with Dominican tobacco that was grown in 2012, which was considered an outstanding harvest. The filler leaves are covered by a Dominican binder, which is then covered by a smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Once rolled, the cigar is allowed to age so that its distinct flavor profile has time to develop. The blend was created by Altadis U.S.A.’s famed Grupo de Maestros. The cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory.
