The Alec Bradley brand has always had a very diverse catalog of options for smokers to choose from, but if there's perhaps one aspect that could have used a broadening, it was on the milder end of the spectrum. The Medalist is a throwback to the early days of Alec Bradley, when founder Alan Rubin first started out by selling affordable and mild cigars throughout the 1990s. Using a shade-grown Honduran wrapper on top of a Honduran binder and a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler combo, this light and naturally sweet cigar is also very affordable, making it perfect for any time of day, every day.

This unique sampler is made of actual cigar molds that have been retired and repurposed to house seven perfecto-sized (6”1/4 * 54) cigars of Alec Bradley’s most popular cigars. Made of reclaimed wood, each mold was once used to help shape cigars. Each mold in this highly collectible sampler has been numbered from 1 to 800. The perfecto size for this limited-edition sampler was made specifically for this special release. Each sampler comes with one (1) each: • Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper – a medium-bodied cigar that sports a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and offers a smooth smoking experience. • Alec Bradley Black Market – this medium to full-bodied cigar features a reddish Nicaraguan maduro wrapper and is an ideal after dinner smoke. • Alec Bradley Magic Toast – features a dark chocolatey Honduran maduro wrapper and delivers a flavorful medium-bodied smoking experience. • Alec Bradley Maxx – this potent yet flavorful smoke features a Nicaraguan Habano Colorado maduro wrapper and offers an invigorating smoking indulgence. • Alec Bradley Medalist – a medium bodied smoke that sports a light-tan Honduran shade wrapper and delivers a pleasant smoking experience that’s perfect any time of day. • Alec Bradley Prensado – a full-bodied, box-pressed cigar that features a savory Honduran maduro wrapper and provides a smooth, flavorful smoke. • Alec Bradley Tempus – this medium bodied cigar sports a red-hued Honduran maduro wrapper and offers a deep complexity of flavors.
This great 6-cigar boxed sampler makes an excellent gift for any cigar aficionado. Contains: 1 each of the Medalist, Maxx, Black Market, Prensado, Magic Toast, and Tempus Natural.

Good. Smooth and good burn.

Some real hits and misses in this sampler. You're bound to find 2 cigars within having poor draw, burn, and construction issues. I've enjoyed AB's offerings in the past and this sampler is not a good benchmark for their normally great cigars.

From a sampler pack. Arrived with cracks in the wrapper near the cap. Lighting it up anyway to try it out. Might try another at a later time. Left me wanting something better from the experience.

Mild but still had some flavor. Very good draw. Good for the price
