Cavalier Cigars

From its initial launch of the Cavalier Geneve line, the Cavalier cigars brand caught the attention of even the most seasoned aficionados with a cigar that featured a wafer-thin, gold leaf affixed to its wrapper. And yes, the leaf is made from real gold and it is smokeable! Since then, Cavalier’s founder Sebastien Decoppet, the founder of Cavalier cigars, and Eylin, his wife, have released one memorable cigar after another.

Cavalier Geneve 10th Anniversary Toro 6"1/4 * 52

(1)

To celebrate a decade of innovation and craftsmanship, Cavalier Genève introduces the Project 10th Anniversary, a limited-edition release showcasing the brand's most ambitious blend to date. Created exclusively for 2026, this commemorative cigar features an intricate recipe of 10 different tobaccos, delivering exceptional complexity and balance in every draw.Offered in a single 6 1/4 x 52 Toro Extra vitola, each box includes both Claro and Oscuro wrapper versions. While the wrappers differ in color, they are harvested from the same Honduran Habano seed grown in the Jamastran Valley. The distinction comes from leaf priming and post-harvest processing, allowing smokers to experience two unique expressions of the same master blend.Beneath the wrapper is a Nicaraguan Habano binder from Jalapa, surrounding a carefully selected blend of eight filler tobaccos sourced from Honduras, Nicaragua, India, and Paraguay. The result is a medium-to-full-bodied profile layered with notes of cedar, earth, baking spices, natural sweetness, roasted nuts, and a balanced pepper finish that evolves throughout the smoke.Finished with Cavalier Genève's signature 24-karat gold diamond on the wrapper, the Project 10th Anniversary is both a collector's piece and a memorable smoking experience. Production is limited, making this a must-have release for brand fans and enthusiasts seeking a truly distinctive anniversary cigar.

?? Newbie Review — Cavalier Genève White Series Toro 6” × 52 Let me start with the obvious: I’m still a newbie and my palate is definitely a work in progress. ?? So don’t expect me to tell you I detected some exotic wood from a forest in Nicaragua mixed with chocolate, almonds, and something harvested during a full moon. What I can tell you is whether I enjoyed a cigar — and I really enjoyed this one. It started very smooth and creamy, with an easy draw, a great aroma, no noticeable spice, and almost no aftertaste. Around the halfway point, it started developing very subtly. A little spice showed up, especially on the retrohale, while it remained creamy and smooth. The aftertaste became more noticeable, but never overwhelming. Going into the final third, it developed more character. The spice gradually increased, but everything stayed balanced and enjoyable. I also got a mild nicotine buzz. That subtle development was probably my favorite part. No dramatic changes — it just kept slowly building character while staying smooth and enjoyable. Near the nub, the spice and aftertaste definitely picked up and the smoke became stronger. How much did I like it? I smoked it until I was burning my fingers and my lips. ?? I think that says enough. Definitely one I’d smoke again. ??

Despite it's length it maintains a medium body with the traditional Cavalier black spice.

Terrific cigar. Great presentation, construction and wonderful flavor profile.

Nice aroma, very smooth and creamy smoke

tadashi y.04/05/2026About: Cavalier Geneve White Series Elegante 4"1/2 * 52

The smoothness and nutty aroma remind me a little of Davidoff. Above all, the beauty of the ring is what catches the eye. It lacks body, but it might be best enjoyed like a croissant paired with espresso. I like it.

One of my favorite Habano Cigars

James C.03/29/2026About: Cavalier Geneve White Series Elegante 4"1/2 * 52

Firm construction, open draw, even burn with no touch ups needed. Mild/mellow and pretty smooth with lots of thick creamy smoke output and flavors of cedar, toasted nuts, and a sour/acidic grapefruit-like bittersweetness.

Medium strength cigar with notes of milk chocolate, roasted nuts, baking spices and fruit. Very enjoyable!

Smooth, slightly sweet smoke with creamy wood notes

This is a beautiful cigar and a great smoking experience. I smoked tonight and went to buy more afree but already out of stock. That’s the challenge with these small run projects. I did order the new release, number 4 or something like that. It appears they are all different blends under the broadleaf wrapper, fingers crossed

First Cavalier and very good cigar. Dark chocolate and cocoa, toasted wood, cappuccino, black pepper, caramel, honey roasted peanuts, orange citrus, cinnamon and rye. Wish it was stronger and had more pepper but glad I tried

Might be the most boring, lifeless stick I ever smoked. Below average construction too.

This thing is a broadleaf beast! Tons of earthy wood and cocoa with a moderate sweetness. Construction is flawless. I'd grab a box of these if they were still available.

Closest resemblance to the Diplomate - which is my favorite vitola from the line.

Really outstanding cigar from appearance to burn to draw to flavor. I didn't find it to be that strong, but the overall flavor is excellent.

The burn is poor. The predominant flavor is nuttiness, which takes on a bit of a sourdough tang - too much so. The redeeming quality of this cigar is the beautifully sweet raisin bread finish that comes with a kiss of black pepper.

Jon07/10/2025About: Cavalier Geneve White Series Toro 6" * 52

The Diplomate of the same kind is my favorite Habano.

Filipe de Souza06/04/2025About: Cavalier Geneve White Series Elegante 4"1/2 * 52

I enjoyed this much more than the black series. Beautiful wood notes throughout with a slight creaminess paired with small pops of nuts and herbs throughout.

Filipe de Souza05/19/2025About: Cavalier Geneve Black Series II Robusto 5" * 50

Very one dimensional flavor wise. It’s a nice quick smoke, but nothing that’ll knock your socks off

Daniel H.05/19/2025About: Cavalier Geneve White Series Elegante 4"1/2 * 52

A standout cigar that masterfully balances elegance and flavor. Its mellow to medium body delivers nuanced notes of sweet cedar, citrus peel, herbs, roasted nuts, and a delightful creaminess, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.

The Cavalier Geneve White Series is a new cigar we just started to carry and it caught my eye the moment I saw it at the store. The cigar has a gold leaf on the wrapper of the cigar which gives it a very elegant look. I chose to try the white series early in the morning with my coffee. As this is the original blend for this cigar, I felt I needed to try it out before I try any of their other blends. The cigar has a very attractive price point and looks very cool unlike any other cigar I’ve seen. While the gold leaf did not add any flavor it does look very pleasing to the eye. The cigar started off with sweet notes that lasted the entire smoke. The cigar had some woody earthy and floral notes that I really paired well with my coffee. The cigar has a perfect draw and burned really well; I had to do one small touch up but it smoked beautifully the rest of the way. I definitely will be smoking this again and looking forward to trying the black series and other blends when they become available. A great morning cigar with very soft and creamy flavors. I think most mild to medium cigar smokers will enjoy this cigar.

A brand new cigar to Neptune with a beautiful presentation. I had the honor to try this first in our Fort Lauderdale store and was thoroughly surprised by the smoke. I’m not for gimmicks but I do value presentation, when I saw the gold leaf I was hesitant at first so I did some research on the cigar itself. The Mexican San Andres wrapper and binder combo holds a continuous balance of spice and coco-esq sweetness from beginning to end. Solid construction with the filler having the right balance of tightness to make a robusto last longer than I thought it would and happily so. The gold leaf doesn’t add any flavor but does look nice burning down the cigar. This cigar finishes strong with the wrapper taking the forefront, lots of deep rich earthy notes in the end.
