The Asylum 867 Auntie is a flavor-infused cigar that uses the steeping method to add its unique flavors to the cigar. It is the first time Asylum has released what they call, “aromatic flavors via exotic tobaccos.” The cigar is a Honduran puro that sports an inviting maduro wrapper. Once the cigars are rolled, they are infused with flavors by submersing them in a flavored liquid or by using methods similar to aroma therapy, where the cigars are placed in a closed environment and allowed to absorb the flavors. The cigars are handmade in Honduras at the CLE Cigar Company factory. The Asylum 867 Auntie was formerly known as the Deadwood Tobacco Co. Chasing the Dragon Auntie. However, it uses the same blend and delivers the same delicious flavor profile as its previous alias.

Very tight draw. Aroma was nice but the flavor coated my mouth in an almost chemically taste that lingered. Would not buy again

Another solid stick from the 867 line, I’ve enjoyed them all. I definitely prefer the corona, since the long panatela is rolled so tight that getting a good draw can be a challenge.

This was my third Asylum infused cigar, and I would put this as a little under the Zero. This was smooth, not exactly sweet, complex but Midnight Oil is still the champ.

Hard to find a slender cigar at this price point that was that good of a smoke.

These are slightly sweet, infused, which I didn't realize before I bought the box. However, for an infused cigar, they aren't overpoweringly sweet. I do not recommend a hole punch, as the tar buildup bleeds through and you'll get a nasty bitter taste. Otherwise, not a bad stick all around.
