This cigar will certainly be polarizing. If you are a cigar purist and don’t enjoy pipe tobacco, you might not enjoy it as much as those who do enjoy pipe tobacco. I am the latter and most pipe smokers occasionally enjoy a “sweet” smoke - whether from the sugar crystals from well aged Virginia tobaccos or aromatic blends. If you are like me and enjoy “hybrid” English blends like Northwoods or Shepherd’s Pie - I think you will enjoy this smoke. English tobacco with some added sweetness is a terrific combo and this cigar marries sweet English & cigar very well. All tobacco is top notch and flavorful. Like pipe tobacco I suggest this cigar to be “sipped” - smoke it slow - for full flavor. This is meant to be an occasional smoke and for me it does that very well when I’m in the mood. Makes a great morning smoke with coffee & cream.

Great aroma, good burn, flavorful, sweet, slight pepper.

Out of the new Stillwell dulce line, this was the best in my opinion. Just a smooth honey, syrupy, sugary sweetness from the start to the halfway point of the smoke. Quite mild bodied sure, but it left a very satisfying finish on the palette. Towards the 2nd half it got more earthy, some coffee, but the syrupy sweetness was still there all the way till the end. A pretty straightforward, but unique flavor smoke. Much more aromatic and sweeter than the other Stillwells. Might be my favorite out of them all. Excellent burn and construction, burn time was about 1 hour 15 minutes. Mild+ strength.

Muted, indistinct tobacco with little flavor; sweetened cap was actually gross and I had to wipe it off; repeated relights and touch-ups made an already dull smoke not worth finishing. Smoked October 4, 2026.

Cocoa, coffee, and a soft aromatic sweetness lead the profile
