Partagas Cigars

One of the oldest names in the industry, Partagas has been around since 1845 and is known worldwide for having an impressive arsenal of quality cigars. Beginning in 1978, Partagas started being manufactured in the Dominican Republic by General Cigar Company, and continues to provide premium Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco in a multitude of blends, sizes, strengths and prices. It doesn't get much more traditional than this.

Jaime Partagas created this brand in 1845. Cigar masters Ramón Cifuentes and Ramón Cifuentes, Jr. made Partagas the leading Cuban cigar. But in 1961, Ramón Cifuentes was forced to flee Cuba, never to return. Seventeen years later, he was finally able to begin creating his Partagas cigars again, this time in the Dominican Republic, where his unmatched tradition of cigar making remains alive and well.
