The Partagas Valle Verde cigar line marks the first time the storied Partagas brand has released a cigar using the much sought-after San Andres wrapper from the Veracruz region of Mexico. The region is referred to as Valle Verde (or Green Valley), and it is recognized for its cooler climate and nutrient rich volcanic soil, which serves as the ideal environment for growing tobacco. The tobacco for Valle Verde’s light-brown wrapper was harvested in 2020. It is expertly placed over a shade grown Cameroon binder, harvested in 2015, and a blend of Mexican San Andres, Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli Ligero, harvested in 2020, filler leaves.
