Have had 3 singles to date. All with excellent draws which I'm always wary of with this shape. Not good at describing the subtlety of the taste but impressed enough to consider a box purchase. A+

Tonight I smoked my first Aging Room Blue Amber, and I have to admit, my opinion of this cigar changed dramatically from the first third to the final nub.
At first light, I was greeted by a noticeable white pepper note. Not overpowering, but enough that I wondered if the cigar was going to be too pepper-forward for my personal preferences. The construction, however, was immediately apparent. The wrapper was immaculate—one of the most beautiful wrappers I’ve seen on a cigar. The draw landed squarely in the Goldilocks zone: not too loose, not too tight. Smoke production was abundant from the very first puff.
As the cigar settled into the first third, I began noticing something I struggled to describe. It wasn’t cedar, coffee, chocolate, or any of the usual cigar tasting notes. The closest description I could find was “freshwater.” There was a clean, mineral quality to the smoke that reminded me of purified spring water. At one point I described it as the taste of water that has been ozonated or heavily filtered.
As the smoke continued, the best word I could find was “aerated.”
The cigar had an open, breathable quality unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It reminded me of the sensation of fresh air after a thunderstorm. There was even a subtle retronasal sensation similar to when a little water accidentally reaches your nasal cavity while drinking. Not unpleasant—just clean, surprising, and refreshing.
The second third is where the cigar truly came alive.
The pepper gradually faded into the background and was replaced by creaminess, graham cracker, and baking spice. Eventually I began picking up a distinct buttercream note. The smoke developed an oily texture that coated the lips and tip of the tongue, creating a rich mouthfeel that perfectly complemented the emerging sweetness.
