Espinosa has typically focused on offering medium or full bodied blends, so, naturally, the widely-respected brand found it wise to introduce something on the other end of the spectrum as well. The Espinosa Crema sports an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper along with a Nicaraguan binder and premium Nicaraguan filler, and as its name not-so-subtly implies - this is one creamy smoke. Manufactured at Erik Espinosa's La Zona factory in Esteli, the Crema is a mild to medium-bodied stick that is perfect for those new to cigars, or even aficionados who simply want something light and smooth without compromising flavor. Notes of coffee, sweet cedar and citrus come together to provide a rich experience that easily holds its own with anything Espinosa has done before, or, with any of the other premium mild options available elsewhere.
Cigar Origin
Nicaragua
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.
Strength
Wrapper Color
Claro
Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Claro wrapper is light, yellowish brown in color.
Wrapper
Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
Binder
Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
Filler
Nicaragua
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Handmade
Handmade cigars are completely made by hand from start to finish.

The Warzone is the long-awaited and first-time collaboration between two cigar-industry giants: General Cigars and Erik Espinosa. The Warzone features a dark, toothy African Cameroon wrapper from General’s inexhaustive inventory of premium quality tobaccos. This exquisite wrapper covers a Honduran binder and a blended filler made of premium Colombian and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Espinosa’s own portfolio. Erik used his encyclopedic knowledge of blending to create the Warzone’s unique recipe. This cigar marks the first time Espinosa has used a Cameroon wrapper. It is expertly hand crafted in Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Warzone is a well-balanced, medium to full-strength cigar with warm notes of cedar, black pepper, and earth. The cigar’s name along with the box’s artwork alludes to the decade-long war Cuba fought to win its independence from Spain. According to General Cigars and Espinosa, the name also refers to “all that’s been hard fought and won”.
