Tiago Clasico

The Tiago (formerly known as Pichardo) Clasico is a Cubanesque premium cigar with a delicious profile that will appeal to both the contemporary and traditional aficionado. Using only the finest tobaccos from Nicaragua for a binder and filler, the Clasico is covered by a lovely Ecuadorian Sumatra seed wrapper. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at the Luciano Cigars factory. The cigars are named after Tiago Splitter a cigar aficionado turned cigar crafter and co-founder. Prior to jumping into the premium cigar business, Tiago was the first Brazilian-born player to ever win an NBA championship in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs. He is also the assistant coach for the Houston Rockets.

Decent cigar. Highlight was aroma. Taste was nothing special, I thought. Draw was a little tight from beginning to end. Uneven burn, but tended to correct itself. Required relighting a couple of times. Not bad. Wouldn’t rush back, but worth a try.

Every so often I find a cigar that is just perfect. I have a lovely Spanish red wine with it and it complimented the intense flavours of the wine wonderfully 10 out of 10

Can’t go wrong with a great Sumatra wrapper like this one. Lots of sweet flavors along with fruity and earthy notes brings nice balance to the smoking experience. Definitely give this one a try!
