In 2018 to celebrate the Toscano brand’s 200th anniversary, Manifatture Sigaro Toscano released the Toscano Duecento (Duecento is Italian for two hundred). Toscano is one of Europe’s most popular cigar brand, and it is well-known in 77 countries. To symbolize this milestone anniversary, the Toscano Duecento was made to measure 200mm (7” 3/4) in length by 46-ring gauge. This long and slender cigar is expertly handmade by Toscano’s most skilled female rollers. The blend is composed of a U.S. fire-cured Kentucky-Seed wrapper that is grown in Tennessee, which is skillfully placed over premium fillers made of Italian and U.S. fire-cured tobaccos. Prior to rolling, the tobacco undergoes a Kentucky fired-cured method and a 100% natural fermentation process, which gives the Duecento its unique flavor. After the tobacco has been fermented, flame-cured, and aged, it undergoes an additional aging process, lasting up to 12 months, to give the leaves its unique flavors and aromas. Italian tobacco is known for being rich in flavor accented with smoky wood notes.

A very nice cigar i actually got because of its style. you can easily also cut in half its end is its beginning anyway. allthough fully machine made nice wrapper. quite intense flavour and tough wrapped. makes a bit a strong draw but burns very nicely and even.

Got the sampler pack. Tried this one first. I must say what a pleasure to smoke. Good all the way around. I cut it in half as suggested which I'm happy I did. This is a slow burner and took me roughly 45 minutes to smoke. Didn't mind at all though with the pleasant aroma and taste. Keep your lighter around too. Had to touch up every now and then. Adding this one to my list as a keeper.

Amazing! If you've shied away from Italian cigars before, fear not. This one is now in my top 10 smokes! As a pipe smoker as well, I love the tastes of Latakia and perique' introduced by the Kentucky fire-cured tobacco, but in full disclosure and for the same reason, if you hate those flavors, you probably won't like this cigar. Very rustic, open head, and you can light either end you prefer. Great burn and consistency, too.

Very unique flavor. This has a distinct peaty aroma that comes through as an undertone flavor while smoking. The burn goes around the veiny bumps in the wrapper, so it required some touch ups. Very pleasing experience!

"Handrolled by skilled female rollers." I still think it is a rustic looking cigar. You can see the veins on it. But I gotta admit, the flavors were surprisingly tasty. Unlike all other cigars that are hand rolled, this one has a certain appeal to it. This Italian cigar had the conversation flowing...from visiting Italy, the wines, the coffees and finally, Neptune Cigars.
