About: Matilde Oscura Toro Bravo 6"1/2 * 54
The presentation of this cigar is enticing and constructed very well. Smelling the foot of the cigar has earthy notes from the Sumatran wrapper and Nicaraguan filler. The first draw of this cigar had sharp espresso/cocoa notes with hints of white pepper after taste. Close to middle of the cigar was a mild sweetness and bitter cocoa from the wrapper. Towards the end you get the same flavor profiles a little more toasty. All in all, it was a very pleasurable smoke; Great draw with little resistance and an even burn throughout. Medium to full body cigar. The ash was sturdy and dense. I recommend this cigar to a novice smoker who's looking for a unique and satisfying blend. A cigar this good and complex for under $10.00, is a steal.

The draw was a little tight. Flavor was fantastic.

This is my favorite cigar of 2015... and so far of 2016. The Matilde Oscura has become my everyday smoke, and the price point is outstanding for how good this stick is. Could easily be priced much higher, but I'm glad it isn't!
