Dedicated to bringing back the look, flavor, and aroma from the Golden Age of Cigars, which was from the late forties to the early sixties, the Aladino Corojo Reserva hits the mark right on the nose. A Honduran puro, the Aladino Corojo Reserva, as it name clearly states, uses Cuban-seed Corojo tobaccos to create a full-strength stick and a classic flavor profile that consists of earth, cedar, tobacco and pepper with a floral touch. The Aladino Corojo Reserva is one premium cigar that, once smoked, will earn a permanent place in your humidor. It already earned Cigar Coop’s 2018 Cigar of the Year number one spot.
Cigar Origin
Honduras
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
Strength
Wrapper Color
Natural
Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.

Wrapper
Honduran
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Honduran cigar wrapper has the reputation of great quality, with wrapper leaf being grown in the Jamastran, Talanga and San Agustin valleys. Some of the wrappers being grown in Honduras include Corojo, Honduran Claro, Honduran Criollo, Honduran Jamastran Viso Rosado, Honduran San Agustin Havana Seed and San Agustin Ligero.
Corojo
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Corojo wrapper was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo wrapper because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo wrapper has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

Beautifully handcrafted by the JRE Tobacco Company in Danli, Honduras, the Aladino Habano is a very Cuban-esque cigar that harkens back to the golden years of Cuban cigar crafting. Under the expert guidance of master blender Julio R. Eiroa, the Aladino Habano is rolled using a binder and filler made from Cuban-seed Corojo tobaccos and covered by a dark, oily Habano wrapper. All grown in Honduras. Once rolled, the cigars are left to age for four to five years so that the tobaccos can marry and develop their uniquely Honduran flavor and characteristics.

The Aladino Maduro cigar is living proof of Julio R. Eiroa and his son Justo M. Eiroa, founders of JRE Tobacco Company, commitment to exceptional quality, and their claim to have mastered the art of cigar making. A delicious cocoa colored Mexican San Andrés wrapper surrounds the binder filler which is made from Honduran Corojo tobacco. Handmade in Honduras, the Aladino Maduro is a medium-strength cigar that is best paired with an IPA beer, cognac, or a port wine

A medium-bodied maduro, one can expect all the rich, bold flavor of a premium maduro cigar without the strength that often comes with it. Rolled in a stunning Mexican San Andres wrapper, notes of mocha and black pepper flood the senses. Available in different sizes, give Rancho Luna a shot if you're looking for a tasty dark cigar that won't leave you feeling woozy afterward. Rancho Luna is produced by Julio Eiroa's JRE Tobacco Company operating out of Honduras.
