Description
This medium-bodied cigar delivers notes of cedar, tobacco, pepper and earth with a hint of floral. It is a Honduran puro with a Habano-seed maduro wrapper, a Corojo binder and a Habano-seed filler. Handmade in Honduras at the Fabrica de Puros Aladino factory, the Aladino Classic Robusto is a traditional smoke with a Cubanesque look and feel.

One of Aladino's best cigars! Burn was a bit wavy but nonetheless, good construction, good draw, fast burn time (less than 45 minutes). Flavors started off strong honey sweetness and nuttiness. Delicious. Reminded me of the San Cristobal Quintessence. The sweetness became more prominent towards the half way point of the smoke. Not really any changes to the flavors. Then towards the end, to the very nub, the sweetness held up! It got a bit earthy, but that was about it. Quite an incredible smoke overall. This is what a Habano cigar should taste like indeed. Medium strength.

Liked this one better than the Aladino Corojo Reserva. Spiced wood with some natural tobacco sweetness.

An absolute spice bomb, from the beginning and throughout, delicious. Like a Cuban but somehow lighter and more spicy at the same time. Middle third onward had cream, vanilla, perhaps some cinnamon, maybe a hint of citrus and a sort of spearmint freshness.
