It's one thing to have a couple of cigar experts collaborate on a release - it's a whole other animal when you combine the talents of three of the most respected names in the industry and let them work their magic. Caldwell's All Out Kings finds Richard Caldwell, Willy Herrera and Jonathan Drew joining forces to create a hefty medium to full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican and USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobaccos, all wrapped in a specially aged stalk-cut Connecticut Habano leaf. The result is nothing short of extraordinary. Made at the Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua, this is a cigar fit for a king.

The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

Acclaimed cigar maker Robert Caldwell and his eponymous boutique brand have never been one to disappoint, always coming through with a top-notch portfolio of exquisite premium smokes. The Caldwell Eastern Standard is a fine example of simplicity meeting genius. Made at the Ventura Cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, this smooth medium-bodied blend utilizes a shimmering Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper on top of a Dominican binder and rich mix of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers that come together to provide crisp notes of earth, nuts, and the perfect amount of spice. The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Wrapper
Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
Binder
Dominican Republic
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. In San Andres de Tuxtla (in the state of Vera Cruz), there is a very interesting production of Sumatra seed wrappers. Dark air cured tobaccos are produced in Mexico, mainly in Vera Cruz and Tampico provinces, on the East Coast along the Gulf. There is also some production in Yucatan. Mexico's volcanic soil yields tobacco that is spicy and earthy, with a very distinctive flavor.

In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The T. by Caldwell is the result of industry giants Robert Caldwell, Matt Booth (Room 101) and AJ Fernandez collaborating on a cigar so impeccably prepared and meticulously constructed that it could only be called, the Truth. Although the name has been shortened, the flavorful blend contained within is simply HUGE. Featuring a pristine Nicaraguan Habano wrapper and premium Nicaraguan binder and filler, this medium to full-bodied puro is the love child of three of the most respected names found in tobacco. You would be amiss to miss this very special cigar.
Cigar Origin
Nicaragua
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.
