Plasencia Year of the Rabbit

The Plasencia Year of the Rabbit is the third release by Plasencia Cigars that celebrates the Lunar New Year, which is based off the Chinese Zodiac. The cigar is a medium bodied Nicaraguan puro that sports a savory red-hued wrapper. The cigars’ leaves come primarily from Jalapa, a region in Nicaragua that is known for its excellent tobacco. According to a press release issued by Nestor Andres Plasencia, CEO of Plasencia 1865, “... the rabbit is a symbol of longevity, our tobacco also improves over time to achieve those incredible flavors.”

Thought it would be better but was still a good stick. First quarter o f the stick didn’t care for but the 2nd and final were really good.

Aroma and cold draw- woody 1st third- floral and white pepper notes on the retrohale. Tang and slight salt on tongue and hard palate. Haven’t reached the second third but I can tell this is going to be a complex and box worthy unicorn. Slightly more body than the Ehtefal.
