The Camacho Nicaragua is full-strength cigar that is handmade in Honduras by Davidoff. Its natural Ecuadorian wrapper covers a Honduran binder and a filler composed of tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. This potent blend delivers notes of leather and oak with an underlying sweetness.

Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

My first Camacho and I'm impressed. Excellent construction and appearance, nice easy full draw and delicious taste and aroma with a near perfect burn and ash throughout. Started strong but mellowed out a bit after a few puffs without losing its peppery quality. Spicy and peppery and a little sweet. Lasted me a good 75 minutes and remained on the mellow side of medium-full to the end. Definitely adding this one to my short list of favorites.

Smoked this one because of it's ranking on the top 25 list. It is billed as a robust, full strength smoke but found it just short of that. I personally appreciate the milder taste and found this to be an enjoyable smoke. It had just the right amount of toasty, medium flavor and I got an easy draw. No problems with the burn and did not have to relight this stick.
