The Desvalido Disla is a reimagined follow-up to the popular Desvalido cigar. Ian Reith, Dapper Cigar Co. founder, approached Raul Disla of the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory, and asked him if could recreate a version of the original. This resulted in a bolder and much more flavorful iteration of the original. Disla’s version uses the same blend but with more Nicaraguan tobacco.

Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

It is a family owned, farm to factory operation that is known for crafting cigars for Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust such as the Mi Querida, Sobremesa, and Muestra de Saka.
