The Ferio Tego Limited Edition cigar is the first release by Ferio Tego, LLC, a premium cigar brand that was launched in 2021. The brand was founded by Michael Herklots formerly the VP of Nat Sherman International and Brendon Scott formerly the CFO of Nat Sherman International. The Elegancia and Generoso are the first installments of this limited edition brand. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the former offers a full-bodied yet creamy smoking indulgence with a complexity of flavors designed to delight the palate. Hand crafted in Nicaragua, the latter provides an invigorating smoking experience with its rich dark notes.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.

The Dominican Republic is considered one of the most premier tobacco growing countries in the world. The filler tobacco grown in this Caribbean island nation ranges from mild to full bodied. Olor Dominicano and Piloto Cubano are the main types of tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.

Love the appearance of this stick! Triple banded, showcasing the family crest, namesake and the year on the foot.The wrapper leaf is crisp and beautiful with tight seams and a lovely hue. 5 Stars from the jump! Rested it for 5+ months, and was looking forward to this one. Vcut and lit up with ease. Flavors are a bouquet of nuances: cedar, creamy marzipan, toasted walnut, and an acidic light roast coffee finish. Burn is nice and straight, and the ash stacks tight. Draw was a little constricted for my liking all the way through Overall it's a treat. Tough to justify the price tag but glad I tried it. Curious to see how the different year vintages fair.

Ordered Single stick to try out, 4 star on appearance is due to slight break on the wrapper but did not affect the smoke. After the light up, FT Elegancia became one of my favorite cigars because how complex and tasty the flavor was and developed through out. Recommend it to anyone who loves to discover new flavors.

Not one of my favorites. Everything about the cigar was great: well built, great draw, and perfect burn, but something was off with the flavor. I got great nuttiness and creaminess with a light hint of pepper, but it came with a slight bitterness. Definitely a shame, as this could have been a great cigar!

The band was glued to the foot. When removed it took the first couple inches of wrapper with it. I cut the damaged part off and it turned out to be a pretty good cigar. I wouldn’t buy one again however.

Such a delicate and flavorful experience. This cigar is mellow, but far from boring. There’s a delicate complexity to this cigar that’s very enjoyable. I’ve smoked two of them on different occasions, and my experience was consistent both times.
