The Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Corojo is the rebranded iteration of the famed Casa Fernandez Aniversario brand that you have come to love. But rest assured the only thing that has changed is the name. It uses the same irresistible Aganorsa Leaf tobacco Corojo wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and filler. It still offers the same flavor profile and strength that has made Aganorsa Leaf a globally recognized brand. The cigars are handmade in the small factory located in the company’s headquarters in Miami, Florida.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Production of cigars in the United States, once a thriving industry, is now mainly machine made cigars. They are still being produced in the last remaining cigar factory from the 1890s, the JC Newman Cigar factory in Tampa. However, in recent years boutique brands have flourished and are being handmade by select rollers in Miami, Florida.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Colorado is a medium brown color also known as EMS or English Market Selection as this used to be the color with more popularity in England than in America.
Wrapper
Nicaraguan Corojo
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Nicaraguan Corojo '99 tobacco originated as a wrapper leaf in 1999 in Cuba. The seeds of the original Corojo '99 seed were planted in Ecuador, and these in turn were transplanted to Nicaragua. The leaf is appreciated for its excellent wrapper qualities and spiciness.

Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

All vitolas in the Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario are perfection to me. I don’t see much variance in the characteristics from one to the other. It is simply a matter of the size one prefers over the other. They’re all box worthy!

I like to smoke at least two of a particular cigar before I give a opinion. Well, after the second one I have to say that I am disappointed. The first one was actually ok, but the second made me say no thanks to this cigar. The first one had a few burn issues but nothing I couldn’t get pass. The second one was a complete failure. It started splitting and cracking from right from the start. I had to put it down about halfway through it. I feel like I wasted my money.

This is a very good cigar. I think this is the same blend as the old Casa Fernandez 2015 Aniversario.
