The Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro is a medium strength cigar that is handmade in Nicaragua. Its toothy, oily Nicaraguan maduro wrapper drapes a binder and filler made of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos that have been aged for five years. The Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro has a complexity of flavors that includes mocha and spice.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cuban Seed
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Cuban seed tobacco comes from seeds that originated in Cuba but are grown in other countries. The tobacco is used in binders as well as wrappers.

Wow. The flavor transitions in this stick put it in the premium league. Don’t let the average price fool you; this is an amazing cigar. First third was very spicy and hearty, like a nice streak or roast beef with three pepper sauce. Things got a little sweet and grassy in the second third, along with some flavors I couldn’t pinpoint. Then got some mocha (chocolatey coffee). Final third got almost like toasting an almond cookie on a campfire. Plenty of delicious flavors throughout for an exceptional experience. Glad I have some more of this blend waiting

Nicely presented straight out of the box – the dark tones just looked inviting. Easy toast and light and then enveloped in a cloud of smoke. Smoking revealed coffee bean, cocoa with hints of spice(cloves). Not a harsh cigar but rich and smooth. Kept a straight burn line with no need of touch ups or relights. This is a keeper and will be added to my list of favourites.

Solid everyday stick. Love the Maduro Lot 23. Firm construction with a smooth draw. Sweet Maduro and mocha taste. Aromas come out very good and strength is medium. Burn was a bit off - but corrected well. Strong ash. Flavor builds up in the second third and stays with a hint of pepper & spice in the end. And a good price too for a daily smoke.

The below cigar is quite nice and a good smoke. I give it a 4.0. I have found that removing the cellophane sleves from the cigars c. one week prior to smoking more completely humidifies the cigar and preserves the cigar. Also, the slightly shorter toro is more to my liking over the Churchill.
