The Coroneta Habano is part of Jon Huber’s (co-founder of Crowned Heads) dream to offer two distinctively different blends made at separate factories. The Habano features a smooth Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covering a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Coroneta Habano appeals to aficionados looking for a contemporary yet traditional cigar. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at the NACSA factory, which is run by Raul Disla, a master cigar crafter. The “Coroneta” name comes from coronet, which is a simple crown. The names of the cigar’s vitola refers to various crowns and ranks of the British nobility during the 16th century.

Firm construction, open draw, mostly even burn with just a couple of minor touchups needed. Medium bodied with nice thick, creamy smoke output and flavors of woodsy oak, peppery spice, and a hint of graham cracker sweetness.
