The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy brand made its debut in the early part of the 21st century. It made a name for itself because of its thick 70-ring gauge (that’s over one inch in diameter), which was considered huge and rare at the time. The Maduro is a line extension of this popular brand, which is composed of a wrapper and filler made of tobaccos that have been aged for five years. Handmade in Nicaragua, the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro offers a rich complexity of flavors accompanied by an irresistible aroma.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Maduro wrapper can go from dark coffee brown with a reddish tint to blackish brown (the latter also called Oscuro).

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Nicaraguan cigar wrappers are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Wrappers grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro wrappers are all produced in Nicaragua.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
Cuban Seed
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Cuban seed tobacco comes from seeds that originated in Cuba but are grown in other countries. The tobacco is used in binders as well as wrappers.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Perdomo Cigars President, Nick Perdomo Jr., is a third-generation cigar maker. His grandfather and father were cigarmakers in Cuba until the Castro regime incarcerated Nick's grandfather,Silvio, and wounded Nick's father, Nick Sr., who was able to escape to America. Nick, who opened his cigar company in his garage, now oversees over 2000 employees and an 88,000 sq ft factory in Nicaragua. Perdomo cigars are well known all over the world.

A lot of smoke but unfortunately only at the burning end. Trying to get a good draw and full pull was very hard. Disappointing. And I also had a problem with the wrapper coming loose at 2/3. Perhaps it is the nature of buggies like this but having to “puff” draw 3-5 times to get any smoke isn’t enjoyable.

First Perdomo stick I ever didn’t care for. Ring gage is too big. Not much flavor. There is a reason this smoke is so much cheaper than other Perdomo sticks. Certainly not a bad smoke. Just not up my alley.

Good dry draw, nice retro draw, make sure you put these in your humidor first, I didn't and they started to Crack after a few puffs! Had to fix a few uneven burns, no problem. Not bad for the price, enjoy

I prefer maduro cigars. I like the large ring size. By far this is the most excellent maduro cigar I have ever smoked. I will keep buying them. I am looking forward to my first 80 ring maduro. I will have to wait until I buy an 80' ring cutter.

Perdomo has always been known for making good cigars, and this one is no exception. What caught my attention first was the size of this cigar. The Inmenso, which translated means 'enormous', is just that. Enormous in size and flavor. It starts off with nice sweet notes, while also showing some hints of cedar. It starts off with a nice medium-full strength. A nice roasted coffee note is also present at the beginning. What I also liked is that for a cigar this size, it has a great draw and construction. At the half way point, the flavors that were found at the start are still present, while some hints of spice are introduced. The draw is still astonishing, and because it is such a fat cigar, it is a slow burner too, which is also something I liked. Toward the end of the experience, the strength does pick up to a completely full bodied cigar. Again, all the great flavors that I found at the beginning are still present. This is one good cigar for those that enjoy an enjoyable medium-full to full bodied smoke. Get yours today. It's an enormous leap of faith if you are not used to this size, but it's definitely worth it!
