The Cain F uses three distinct Nicaraguan ligeros to achieve the fullest flavors while balancing smoothness and burn. The Esteli ligero is the strongest of all and is used sparingly so that it does not overpower the other fillers. The Condega ligero is medium bodied and complex in flavor. The Jalapa ligero is the smoothest of the three.

Oliva Cigar Company is Nicaragua's second largest grower of tobacco and one of the largest cigarmakers in the world. It all started in 1886 when Melanio Oliva first grew tobacco in Cuba. In 1995, his grandson Gilberto Oliva would launch the Oliva cigar brand, produced in Esteli, Nicaragua. The company's flagship brand, Oliva Serie V, has obtained some of the highest ratings in cigar publications worldwide. Their cigars use mostly tobacco harvested by the company in their various farms in Nicaragua.

Well made hand rolled stick. The draw was a little tight but enjoyable. Two of the sticks side burned a little but i was out side in the wind. The aroma’s were satisfying and traditional. Second hand aroma was pleasing to my wife. The tastes ranged from mild to a noticeable bite and mild after taste. I really enjoyed this sampler box.

Really enjoyed this stick! Initial 1/3: Sweet spice, tobacco, and leather Middle 1/3: Sweet spice/pepper, tobacco, wood/earthy flavor Final 1/3: Pepper and tobacco This stick burned evenly and stayed lit throughout. For me, it was an hour as I smoke slowly. Paired it with Knob Creek 9 Bourbon. The stick made the borubon taste sweeter (caramel) and the bourbon lessened the pepper. Great stick!!

An Oliva cigar with a cauliflower ear! One tough cigar. Make sure you eat before lighting up...best as an after dinner smoke. Mostly heavy tobacco notes as well as charred oak...didn't notice anything else. Razor sharp burn, easy draw and lots of smoke. Would purchase again!

Interesting smoke! Oliva always delivers. Powerhouse cigar that I would reserve for evenings or certainly after a meal! Taste was somewhat unidimensional and notes were difficult to detect. Mostly pepper and wood but certainly an acceptable palate experience. Would purchase again.

Much better than the AB Prensado that I tried; I have had the Nub version years ago from another online retailer, and wasn't aware of this larger variant. This cigar is in my opinion the best Oliva has to offer. Strong and bold in flavor, yet smooth with a hearty tobacco spiciness.

Starts out with strong notes of black pepper and nuts, after about an inch in things kind of take a tumble. Very creamy through the whole cigar but lacks complexity. What your left with is a pretty bland tasting smoke, with a kind of dry bitter aftertaste. The one I had burned terrible...Had to be touched up a half a dozen times.
