Monte by Montecristo Cigars
Monte by Montecristo opens up a new chapter for the classic Montecristo cigar brand, as did the earlier release of Romeo by Romeo y Julieta from the same manufacturer, Altadis USA. The cigar is exquisite, handmade with the use of two flavorful binders instead of one. The Nicaraguan Corojo binder and the spicy Dominican Olor binder complement one another, while aged fillers from the Dominican Republic farms in Villa Gonzales and La Canela give punch and complexity to this well-balanced cigar.

Ask anyone to name a cigar brand that they know, and they will surely mention one, if not all, of the brands in this sampler: Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta and H. Upmann. These 3 brands have been favorites for decades, and they are now put together in one boxed sampler. This sampler contains 1 H. Upmann 1844 Reserve Toro, 1 H Upmann The Banker Annuity, 1 H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Toro, 1 Montecristo Classic Toro, 1 Monte by Montecristo Toro, 1 Montecristo Platinum Toro, 1 Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion #3, 1 Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Toro, and 1 Romeo y Julieta Vintage Toro. Purchased separately, these cigars would cost you about $70, so it is a great value and an excellent gift!

Love this gift set

Firm construction, pretty tight draw in the beginning but it loosened up some with some light squeezing about halfway through and was perfect from there. Even burn with no touchups needed. Medium to full-bodied with flavors of oak, leather, coffee, and a strong tongue-numbing peppery spiciness that intensified as I smoked it down.
