Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The Connecticut Valley, in the Northeast of the USA, is well known for its bright golden wrapper. Because of a very hot and sunny summer, the tobacco is shade grown to make the leaf more delicate with few veins and even surface. Connecticut Shade wrapper grown in the United States has a mild to medium flavor and a silky quality, making it one of the most expensive and sought-after cigar wrappers in the cigar industry.

Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

The Dominican Republic is considered one of the most premier tobacco growing countries in the world. The filler tobacco grown in this Caribbean island nation ranges from mild to full bodied. Olor Dominicano and Piloto Cubano are the main types of tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.

Only have the one, but had been very pleasant. What you expect from an industry name. Exceptional burn, clocked it at 62 RH. Smooth, nuts, leather, cream. It definitely didn't disappoint. The only comment is that it didn't have much change, aside strength as we can all expect. Definitely would buy again just not it a hurry. Definitely worth a go.

I don’t know the reason for this but here goes. Of the 5 cigars in the pack not one smoked. Hard draw, bad burn. This is my 2nd favorite brand. But these five cigars were duds. All not smoke able. Tried all the tricks, pushed a rod down, cut back at end. No good, ended throwing away 5 cigars that i spent way too long trying to smoke. Maybe i just had a bad lot, or maybe that size has an issue. I know i will never buy that size again.

The cigars were packaged with care. I had to get a different packaging due to the store being out but it was the same cigars and same great care you get with other orders. The draw on these have been mediocre at best. I still have some to smoke but overall it has been a decent experience

I tried to like this but could not. It has aged at 65 for 2 months. So it’s stable. But the burn had many issues, the draw created minimal smoke and it was just soft and too mild. No volume. For the price I’d not expect relites, runners, etc. another Montecristo that I had poor luck with. Had to toss it after trying the 1/3. Just not worth the effort at keeping it going.

As many have noted, very well put together. Excellent construction. Thus is definitely the mildest cigar I’ve ever had. Had to keep seeing if it was lit! j/k. A bit too mild for my taste but probably good to have around for a novice guest perhaps. Draw could have been a bit easier. Not much smoke. Better in 2nd and then last 3rd though. Aged in humidor a few months, smoked at 66%RH and 70F. Will buy more yo have around for guest(s) that need something good but mild.

Nice little gift set. Obviously the cigars are of expected quality (montecristo). The glasses are of reasonable quality and should last well. The granite (ice?) cubes work well and obviously don't water down your wee dram. Would be a nice idea for all cigar brands to do this as it makes a nice gift but, only for montecristo smokers.

As usual with a Monte, high expectations given the iconic brand name and the price. As usual, a bit of a let down. Not offensive, just not great with some obvious flaws. Decent looking cigar, and consistent with every other Monte I have smoked recently the bands were unevenly applied. Mild flavor and not too strong. Aroma ok…slightly fruity or something. Taste was pretty ordinary…nothing to distinguish it from other just fine cigars. Even burn. The draw and smoke production started out very poor, but got better in the second third. Would not buy again.

If you like mild cigars, you're going to love(!!) this one. It was so mild that it would be hard to even say that it had a flavor profile. I like mild cigars, but this one was so mild that, if not for the smoke coming out of my mouth, I wouldn't even have known it was burning. It was too mild for my taste. The construction was excellent! It had a nice draw and the burn was perfect with a sturdy ash that held of for two inches. Don't be fooled though, even though it was extremely light in body and flavor, it scored much higher than expected on the strength-o-meter. Pair this cigar with any drink you're thirsty for, from water to whiskey. Its gentle flavors will fall into the background of whatever you like to drink.

Montecristo is one of my favorite top tier cigars. I actually find the Montecristo white more mild than the normal Montecristo. The workmanship of the rolling and look of the wrapper is excellent.
