Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust’s Year of the Pausers isn’t your usual zodiac cigar. It’s built in honor of Tom and Michelle Pauser, two longtime figures in the cigar world who are known for their passion and presence in the community. Steve Saka used their preferences as a guide, creating two blends that capture their personalities rather than an animal or year. The box contains two distinct blends, one inspired by Michelle’s love for Sin Compromiso and the other by Tom’s preference for bolder Mi Querida styles. Steve Saka took their tastes as starting points and built cigar recipes around them, giving each a shout-out instead of a one-size-fits-all release. Like all Lunar New Year cigars, these will only stick around for a limited time. Make sure to get your hands on a box or try them both.
