Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Tobacco is grown in many islands of the Archipelago but, as far as cigars are concerned, Sumatra and Java are the ones. Sumatra Wrappers are worldwide known. Central Java (Vorstenland) and East Java (Besuki) give fillers and wrappers in abundance. Indonesia is a key country for cigar tobacco.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.

Filler (or “tripa” in Spanish) is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar. Olor Dominicano and Piloto Cubano are the main types of tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.

A lot of teeth on these little guys. They smoke real fast but burn perfectly. Wish they were slightly bigger for maybe a 10-15min instead of a 7min smoke. A velvety smooth vanilla flavor with some earthy undertones.

first, a clarification. I don't smoke flavored smokes. I got these for my SO because she started smoking vanilla cigars. She liked them ok but she had trouble keeping them lit but she liked the taste and the aroma is great with these.

As a begining cigar smoker I stopped at the local wine and burbon shop and would pick up one brand of cigar then another. Stumbled on the Tatiana's and thought these are perfect for me.. I liked them well enough I got online and found Neptune, then purchased a box.. They shipped prompty and the freshness of the cigars was amazing. A much better smoke than I had bought out of an open box. Much better. I give both Tatiana and Neptune 5 stars

Nice smoke!! Individual wrappers can be aggravating at times, difficult to remove. Very small for someone with large hands/fingers. Sometimes they have to be relit multiple times.

Good cigar but rolled to loose. You have to relight it and the mouth end will fall apart before you finish the cigar.
