Cuesta Rey Centenario is a mild to medium premium stogie produced for the 100 year anniversary of the famed Cuesta Rey brand. The brand was born in 1884 in Cuba and was the official cigar of the King of Spain. Today they are made by Fuente with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper and Dominican filler tobaccos aged for an average of 5 years.

The Cuesta Rey brand was founded in 1884 in Cuba, and it was the official cigar of the King of Spain. Today, the cigars are made in the Dominican Republic at Arturo Fuente’s Tabacalera Fuente factory.

Interesting cigar. It was on the bold side (taste), but not a nicotine bomb. Simple, straight forward "classic" tobacco taste. maybe 2 transitions. Spice, pepper, deep earth ... I'll definitely try it again.

This is a stable flavor of cigar, pepper, cocoa, strong leather flavor, I have also smoked the sun-dried version, compared to Maduro, I prefer sun-dried
