This is another Caldwell cigar that won't disappoint. There is a royal feel to this blend. It is definitely smooth, toasty and perfect with brandy.

The first thing that jumps at me from this cigar is the art work. It is truly amazing in it’s detail, simplicity and quality. This is a well-balanced cigar comprised of a truly interesting filler: a combination of Dominican light Corojo, Viso Pelo de Oro Peruano and Habano Ligero Peruano. All binded with Dominican Corojo and wrapped with Dominican Corojo. On to the important part, the first few draws are a mix of flavors, leather-cedar-light pepper and just a hint of sweetness. As I smoke, the cigar just gets better and better. The draw is perfect, enough smoke pours with every puff, the ash confirms the quality of the build and I just keep on enjoying. During the 2nd third of the cigar the flavors remain the same, yet they build up consistently, the draw is still perfect and no need to relight yet. For the final 3rd of the cigar, it is clear to me that this is a cigar that leans more to the full side, all favors are still present, although as I approach the final draws, pepper becomes the predominant flavor. Overall this is a cigar that I will definitely keep in my humidor for a lazy Sunday after a nice meal, to me, Caldwell Cigar Co is positioning themselves as an edgy-modern style, kind of a micro-craft brewery of cigars, catering to the boutique cigar enthusiast.
