I am reviewing long live the Reviewing Long Live the King this time, from what I expect to be a very good pack. Very good cigar overall. I agree with other reviews about the tight draw and the burn, which needs some touch-up and care. It starts with earth, leather and cocoa, accompanied by a little pepper and spice. Nothing overwhelming—the strength remains controlled and well balanced. The second third becomes more interesting, adding floral notes, brown sugar, and a very pleasant touch of citrus. The brown sugar brings a subtle sweetness that rounds out the brighter floral and citrus notes nicely. In the final third, some bitterness emerges, reminiscent of dark chocolate, while the pepper builds and lingers toward the back of the tongue. There is nice complexity and genuine evolution throughout the smoke. Despite the draw and burn issues, the blend is very well crafted and keeps things interesting from beginning to end. Smoking time: 1h10.
Tasty toasty treat with a pigtail. They smoke forevvvvvver. Get at least 3.
Not a bad cigar by any means, but just very average. The last third was harsh. I don't get the good reviews, this is rather a uni dimensional cigar with not much to get you excited. I won't buy anymore, aat this price there is a lot of competition offering better smokes.
Excellent construction with a clean even burn from start to finish. The aroma was very inviting, even my wife who's not into cigars thought the aroma was pleasant. I will definitely be buying the cigar again might even purchase the box.
