The initial sweet taste of the Ashton Maduro cigar comes from the wrapper, but once lit, the cigar becomes rich and nutty thanks to the unhurried natural fermentation of the wrapper and the aged filler tobaccos.

Aged Maduro No. 10 is really nice. That long-fermented Connecticut Broadleaf gives it a dark chocolate and molasses sweetness that feels natural, not sugary, and the Dominican filler keeps it smooth and mellow. It’s a more refined, old-school maduro—less punch, more balance.

An excellent variety of the Ashton lineup. The classic and maduro are excellent everyday smokes. The VSG is a premium smoke and everything in between is high-quality.
