Rocky Patel's Java Latte cigars are made by flavored cigar giant Drew Estate using an infusion of cocoa and espresso coffee beans to add delicious aroma to a mix of premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Ecuador Connecticut wrapper of Java Latte cigars balance out the smoke with added creaminess.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Claro wrapper is light, yellowish brown in color.

Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.

Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Wrappers of 4 from 24 had spaces/holes in them making for a crappy draw (kinda like sucking on a split straw) which I find unacceptable at this price point. Aside from that, an easy smoke, very mild. I definitely prefer the java maduro's but, since having tried the Tabak especial negra's, I shan't be buying the java's in the future. Night and day difference.

Great looking sharp box press with a nice draw. Burn was average requiring a few more touchups than I would like. This was a bit of a disappointment. I actually expected much, much more, given how much I enjoyed the Java Maduro. The aroma from the cigar, initially, had a very faint latte smell, that unfortunately didn't carry over to the actual smoking of it. I won't be buying these again, unlike the Java Maduro, which was excellent.

bought this for my girlfriend as a joke because she loves coffee. she smoked half and didnt like it so she gave it to me. I liked it a lot. had a nice coffee flavor

This Java Latte cigar was much better than I had anticipated, with the perfect balance of flavored sweetness and that classic tobacco flavor cigar smokers look for. With a nice Connecticut Shade wrapper, these are a mellow alternative to the original Java's Maduro. With a smooth Nicaraguan blend, these are very good smokes: creamy and well-balanced, with a soft aroma so appealing, even non-cigar folks approve.

I've come to lean more towards flavored sticks, so I decided to give these a try. Very nice pre-light aroma out of the cello, and an easy start, but the flavor and aroma just fell flat after the first third. I was hoping for more coffee flavor throughout the smoke, but even through the nice creamy smoke, it just wasn't there. Slightly disappointed.
