The Warped Nicotina is a fuller-bodied departure from this boutique brand’s portfolio of medium-bodied premium cigars. However, Warped did not compromise on balance and complexity when developing this more potent blend. From filler to wrapper this is a Nicaraguan puro that is composed of Corojo and Criollo tobaccos. From first puff to last, the Nicotina offers a mesmerizing smoking experience. The name “Nicotina” is a nod to a Cuban brand of cigars that was popular in the late 1800s. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. factory, which is owned and operated by Aganorsa Leaf.

Nicaraguan Corojo '99 tobacco originated as a wrapper leaf in 1999 in Cuba. The seeds of the original Corojo '99 seed were planted in Ecuador, and these in turn were transplanted to Nicaragua. The leaf is appreciated for its excellent wrapper qualities and spiciness.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
Criollo
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Costa Rica Habano tobacco is a Cuban-seed tobacco that is grown in Costa Rica, and it is fermented using traditional Cuban methods. The tobacco is highly regarded for its Cubanesque flavor and aroma.

This was very peppery, raspid, sharp, rough smoke on the tongue. Burning retro. If it wasnt for that it would be something id go back to it. Its a good blend, but the lack of smoothness really hinders its potential.

The depth of Kyle Gellis’ skill and historical knowledge is evident in this great cigar. In a matter of eight months I have gained a great appreciation for Warped Cigars and Nicotina is my favorite. Construction is flawless and appearance magnificent. It is a Nicaraguan puro, which drew me initially! Flavors of earth, cedar, leather, and a touch of hazel nut with a bit of restrained molasses sweetness and it remains constant for the whole enjoyable smoke! Highly recommend letting this beauty settle in a 68-69% humidor for a week before lighting. This cigar may lighten your head a bit.. Magnificent Cigar! 93-95 in my opinion.. maybe higher!

Love everything about this stick. The rounded tapered head, the soft box press, elegant band design. Medium bodied smoke of earth, spice and milk chocolate.

Warped does it again! Kyle Gellis just doesn't miss! I love the brand, Aganorsa tobacco is some of my absolute favorite, I love their 109 cap, and I love a good Belicosos Finos, what's not to love? A little more punch than most Warped cigars but far from a powerhouse. Well balanced and a new staple in my humidor.
