In some industries, five years might not seem like a long time let alone cause for celebration. However, in the fast and furious world of premium cigars, being able to thrive and survive for one-half decade is a great accomplishment. To celebrate this major feat, Daniel Guerrero, cigar shop owner turned cigar crafter from Spain, created the El Viejo Continente 5 Anos as a Salomon (perfecto) which is one of the hardest cigar shapes to roll. This anniversary premium cigar sports a dark Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper expertly placed over a Jalapa, Nicaragua binder and a filler composed of long-filler tobaccos from three of Nicaragua’s top-tobacco producing regions. The El Viejo Continente 5 Anos is a box-worthy cigar that is hand crafted in Nicaragua.
