Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Tobacco is grown in many islands of the Archipelago but, as far as cigars are concerned, Sumatra and Java are the ones. Sumatra Wrappers are worldwide known. Central Java (Vorstenland) and East Java (Besuki) give fillers and wrappers in abundance. Indonesia is a key country for cigar tobacco.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Filler (or “tripa” in Spanish) is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar. The Dominican Republic is considered one of the most premier tobacco growing countries in the world. The filler tobacco grown in this Caribbean island nation ranges from mild to full bodied. Olor Dominicano and Piloto Cubano are the main types of tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.

Nester himself told me to try it. Who am I to say no. Well, now I'm about to buy my second box. It's a very nice, well balanced cigar with a hint of berry flavor. I could not, nor others detect a berry aroma from the smoke. It's fun and different. (I did have one plugged) Enjoy!

These are absolutely GREAT! If you’re looking for about a 40 minute burn time it’s perfect. Great taste! The only thing I don’t like is the open mouth end, you get pieces of tobacco when drawing. They really need to fix that.

Purchased the 25 count. Out of the first 12, 10 kept plugging and became unsmokeable. Neptune was fair in offering a return but I passed thinking "they can't all be this bad". Wrong. I even used a 'draw enhancer' which meant I only fought with 3 'plugs' per cigar. The constant 'unplugging/relighting' affected the taste. Perhaps a larger ring size would better but at this point, it is not worth the fight n wasted money. Way too many good choices to risk this brand again.

Very Unique. It smells strong, but it is very smooth. Some Tatianas are a bit harsh or unrefined, but Groovy Blue is different, it's exceptionally smooth for the brand. If I had to try to describe the scent: Fun Dip or Nerds candy. The taste is very light cigar leaf and the slightest hint of candy flavor, kind of like a vape in a way. I hope this helps set expectations. It's a really neat cigar, not one I would offer a newbie as it might be too far from 'normal', but a fun one for sure. I liked it.

Tatiana classic sampler was definitely a good buy, I find that these cigars have great flavor, but tend to come loose towards the end of the smoke. Really enjoyed the different flavors. As usual Neptune always sends their products in very good packaging.

Draw is good, but should leave one end uncut and reinforced with another leaf, because the end you draw disintegrates within 4-5 puffs, leaving the smoker spitting out pieces of tobacco. YUCK!

Well hello Blueberry. One of my favourite snacks. This one, like it's partner in taste, the Tatiana Honey, slapped it's blueberry smell in my face, before I could even take the cellophane wrapper off. A firm, well rolled cigar, tasted of blueberry, and something else, that I couldn't put my finger on, but I will, when I smoke the next one. I will be buying more of this one in the coming weeks.

Very sweet! Smell really good love raspberry bomb! :) These who smokes cigarettes (I dont) - this cigar is almost same size as cigs... a bit smaller! took me around 15 min to smoke this cigar. I like! :)
