The Odyssey Coffee is a budget-friendly, medium strength cigar that is handmade in Nicaragua. Its oily Indonesian wrapper covers an Indonesian binder and a filler made of Nicaraguan Habano and Indonesian tobacco. This is a coffee-infused stick that makes for a great everyday smoke.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Featuring the darkest color found in cigar wrappers, maduro leaves are dark brown to almost black in color, and come from the primings furthest up on the plant. Having seen more sun, maduro wrappers tend to be richer and contain more nicotine than their lighter counterparts. Although somewhat intimidating in appearance, do not assume that all maduros are super strong - many can be milder than other types of wrappers, as well as naturally sweeter.

Fukuda Yasuhira I bought this product. I will definitely stop at Japanese customs to check the weight of the cigar. I want to know the weight in advance for smooth customs clearance.

Great morning stick with your cup of joe, or all day smoke. Tastes more like creamy chocolate then coffee, which I like. Great construction, good draw, very creamy, holds ash very well, medium smoke output. Gets less sweet halfway but creamy all the way to the nub with some earthy undertones and an ever so slight pepper note on the retro hale. Good stick for the price and WAY better then the Odyssey sweets. Fast shipping, great service, will buy again.

Was interested in trying this cigar on first opening the smell of chocolate and cocoa is so strong on cutting the dry draw is just chocolate and espresso coffee and the sweet tip is very sugary sweet but on light up you get a very light cigar which is smooth hints of cream chocolate and coffee right through this the final third a slight bitterness but all in all a very nice budget cigar will be buying more for the humidor.

The aroma is more like chocolate than coffee. It is smooth, easy to smoke, and you can easily smoke without having to hold yourself. It's more like a daytime snack than having a good taste at midnight. However, the scent is strong, so the scent is transferred to other cigars in the same container.

After taking the plastic wrapper off, the first thing I noted was a strong odor of stinky feet. Where's the coffee flavor? The construction of the cigar itself is ok. I found towards the middle of the smoke, the cigar got slightly hot on the lips. Not buying this one again. Sorry Joe not this one..

From the start you get a sweet coffee aroma. It is a easy/light draw. It tastes sweet, a little saccharine, which fades. The coffee taste is, unfortunately, more in the background, in a supporting role to the coffee. I would have preferred it to be the other way round.
