The La Palina White Label is a mild cigar that is handmade at the Honduras American Tobaccos, SA (HATSA) factory in Danli, Honduras. Its natural Honduran-grown Connecticut seed wrapper covers a Mexican San Andres binder and a filler composed of Dominican Republic Piloto Cubano and Mexican San Andres tobaccos. The La Palina White Label has a rich complexity of flavors. This is a limited-release cigar that is available through TAA members, only 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars per box were made. The Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) is a group of the top tobacconists in the nation. It consists of about 80 retailers and 40 manufacturers, which Neptune Cigars is a proud member.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Natural wrapper, also known as Colorado Claro, is light brown in color.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Honduran cigar wrapper has the reputation of great quality, with wrapper leaf being grown in the Jamastran, Talanga and San Agustin valleys. Some of the wrappers being grown in Honduras include Corojo, Honduran Claro, Honduran Criollo, Honduran Jamastran Viso Rosado, Honduran San Agustin Havana Seed and San Agustin Ligero.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
The San Andres region in Mexico is known for producing some of the best tobacco in the world. The tobacco is stalk cut and valued for its rich dark color and used to make noteworthy maduro wrappers and binders.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Great introduction to this 20 stick box of a deal. Neptune put this box on their site with a discount and coupled with a 15% reduction for the 4th of July…I couldn’t resist getting a box. Normally I’m a mild/robust cigar smoker but this very mild series was a great surprise, having it early in the morning with a simple cup of coffee. Upon reading this multi-sourced cigar I didn’t have a lot of expectation but found this La Palina was similiar to its series this year, very pleasing. There is a slight spice but more both a cream and sweetness as advertised. Enjoying this box slowly in the mornings and expect to continue to watch how Neptune puts out deals such as this enjoyable while label robusta.

This one surprised me. Really good and unique Connecticut. Reminded me of crust of a pot pie, with some cashew and slight cedar and vanilla. Great burn and a neat perfect draw. Just realized they are limited, gonna have to get more!

Yeah! I like it. Very smooth with a perfect draw and burn. Only hints of leather and nutmeg, citrus? Wonderfully thick plumes of smoke. Consistent all the way to the end. Just ordered a box of these in Robusto size!
