Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll

The Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll is a limited-edition cigar that was developed as a collaboration between Macanudo and Flint Knoll, which is a winery located in the Napa Valley region of California. Flint Knoll is known for crafting small batch artisanal wines. The cigar is composed of a honey-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper draped over a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and filler leaves from Brazil, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The binder’s tobacco has been aged in French Oak barrels, which contained Flint Knoll’s single vineyard Cabernet wine. This time-tested aging process gives the cigar an added dimension to its already intricate smoking profile. The cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic.

If you enjoy creamy, dense, fragrant smoke with a flavour profile of baking spices & oak, this is one to put in your rotation.

I have no idea why this is over $22. Perhaps it needs months or years in a humidor but it didn't impress. The final third had some good aromatics but not enough to justify the price tag.
