Construction and burn were perfect. Even with a slightly broken wrapper due to extreme dryness here, it burned like a champ. Nice solid ash, great draw. The only problem was the flavor. Throughout the whole smoke, I got some dark cherry, fruity notes, but there was also a bitterness, as well as earthiness. The bitterness was there pretty much the whole smoke. Flavors didn't change much. A rather bland smoking experience. With that said, I've had better Maduros. Medium minus strength.

Not a fan of Honduran tobacco personally, but if that's your thing Aladino is top notch.

I like to taste tobaccos from Honduras. My father was a big fan of Honduran tobaccos. I believe the filler and binder are Honduran. This cigar is a Maduro and it has a wonderful deep taste. Unfortunately the stick burned unevenly. Had that canoe effect.
