The Cohiba Spectre 2019 is a medium to full-strength toro that uses specially selected tobaccos, which have been aged for 13 years. Its alluring oily maduro wrapper from Jalapa, Nicaragua covers a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a specially blended filler composed of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Jalapa and Esteli, which have been aged in Spanish Sherry barrels. After rolling, each cigar is placed in a sleek wooden coffin to preserve its rich tobacco flavor with notes of nuts and sweetness. Only 180 boxes of 10 cigars per box of the Cohiba Spectre 2019 were made so reserve yours to today before they vanish.

  Like a vintage wine, tobacco only gets better with time. The Cohiba Spectre is what happens when fine tobacco is allowed to age properly. Starting with the filler. At its center is a Dominican Piloto Cubano leaf which has been aged when it was harvested in 1995. It is surrounded by a variety of leaves from Estelí, Nicaragua that have been aged from 2011 – 2014 in Spanish sherry barrels. The filler is completed with Honduran leaves from three distinct regions: Olancho San Agustin, aged since 2002, Jamastran Valley, and La Entrada, both aged since 2011. All of it is draped by a reddish Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. But that’s not enough! Keeping with the aging theme, the Cohiba Spectre is handmade by a single buncher and a single roller both with a combined experience that spans five decades. The Cohiba Spectre is a medium-strength premium cigar that will definitely make a timeless addition to the most discerning aficionado’s humidor.

  Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. Mata Fina tobacco is grown in a region in the Reconcavo Basin of the State of Bahia called Mata Fina (which translated means "thin plants"). Tobacco was one of the natural crops in the region.
