  Since its first release the Cohiba brand created a name for itself by delivering superbly made premium cigars and making "firsts". The Cohiba Riviera is no exception. It is the first Cohiba to sport a Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper, and it is the first to be offered in a box-pressed shape. Underneath its mouthwatering dark wrapper is a Honduran-grown Connecticut binder and a filler composed of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves. The blend uses proprietary tobacco that comes from Jamastran and La Entrada in Honduras, as well as Esteli and Condega in Nicaragua. These are top premium tobacco growing regions in their respective countries. The Cohiba Riviera is named after the region in the San Andres Tuxtla Valley where this exquisite wrapper’s tobacco is grown. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua.
