This medium-bodied robusto has a nutty, earthy and spicy profile underscored by a delectable sweetness. Its golden Dominican Sun-grown wrapper covers a Dominican binder and filler. The blend is composed of leaves that have been aged together in a bale for at least one year. It differs from the traditional method of aging tobacco in separate bales before they are rolled into a cigar. This method was inspired from the Solera process of blending Sherry and Port wines by adding younger wines to the more mature ones. Aging the tobacco this way, allows the flavors in the blend to marry perfectly. The Aging Room Solera Sun Grown Fantastico is handmade in the Dominican Republic.

  The Aging Room Solera cigar as a concept was born out of Rafael Nodal's love for wine, and inspired by the Spanish Solera method of blending younger wines with more mature wines. For this cigar, different tobaccos harvested in different years are packed together for at least one year aging with the intention of marrying their flavors together before the cigar is rolled. As with other Aging Room cigars, the Solera is made in Santiago, Dominican Republic, by Jochy Blanco.

The factory is located in the La Palma free trade zone, which is in the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic. It is considered one of the oldest tobacco companies in the Dominican Republic. Tabacalera Palma makes cigars for a large number of companies as well as their own brands such as La Galera, Aging Room, La Instructora, and Sans Pareil.

  Sungrown cigar wrappers come from tobacco plants that are grown directly under the sun without the use of man made tents to give shade as in Shade grown wrappers. Sungrown wrappers can be appreciated for their rich taste and sweet undertones.
