For 20 years, Tatuaje Cigars and My Father Cigars have banded together to create memorable blends. To commemorate their unshakable bond, they have released the La Union cigar. Each release features twenty Prominente Especial (Churchill, 7”1/4*50) cigars that were blended by Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson for My Father Cigars, and twenty Prominente Especial cigars blended by Jose “Don Pepin” Garcia of My Father Cigars. Once rolled, the cigars are placed in a collectible humidor that marks Johnson and Garcia’s long-term working relationship and commitment to crafting superb cigars. A specially designed XIKAR Perfect Xi1 cutter comes with purchase. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars. • The La Union — Tatuaje for My Father (Black) is a medium-bodied smoke with hints of spice, coffee, and earth underscored by a rich creaminess. This Nicaraguan puro features a smooth, shade-grown Corojo 99 wrapper. • The La Union – My Father for Tatuaje (Black) is a medium-bodied cigar that delivers notes of coffee, leather, spice, and an overall sweetness. Its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

The La Union Prominente Especial Red is the second release in the La Union line, introducing an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a shaggy foot (For My Father) and Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers with a closed foot (Para Tatuaje) over the García family’s Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Red edition provides most palates with a heavier-smoking experience than the Black series and offers collectors and connoisseurs a bold new chapter in this celebrated collaboration. This release further strengthens the bond between two of todays cigar royalty.
