Description
This potent yet flavorful cigar offers rich spicy, earthy, and peppery notes. A Nicaraguan puro with an oily Jalapa Ligero maduro wrapper placed over a Jalapa binder and a Jalapa and Esteli filler. The tobacco leaves for this delicious blend comes from three of Nicaragua’s top-tobacco growing regions. The exquisite Jalapa tobacco has been fermented for one year and then aged for two and a half years to allow its strength and flavor to develop. The La Gloria Cubana Serie R Black cigars are hand crafted in Nicaragua.

You get what you pay for. That's a tried and true metaphor for life and for cigars too. Beautiful stick, but that's where the good news ends. The draw is okay, the flavors are muted and boring. Overall, not worth the money for a full box. I'd much rather spend an extra $50 and get a box of sticks I love.
