This full-bodied stick has a spicy and peppery profile accompanied by earthy notes. Its Honduran and Nicaraguan and Honduran binder is blanketed by a Honduran Corojo wrapper. It is part of the Alec Bradley Trilogy series of triangular shaped cigars. The unique triangular shape of the cigar was designed by Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley cigars. He even developed the mold that shapes the cigar. The Alec Bradley Trilogy Authentic Corojo is handmade by Plasencia Cigars in Honduras.

  Originally released in 2002, the Alec Bradley Trilogy is a three-blend premium cigar series that was known for having a triangular shape. Alan Rubin, the founder of Alec Bradley Cigars, came-up with the concept after a conversation with a fellow cigar crafter who said he was tired of seeing round cigars. This lament inspired Rubin to come-up with the Trilogy. He even designed and created the triangular mold that gives the cigar its unique shape. While the Trilogy brand was very popular when it first came out, it was eventually put on hiatus. But now it’s back by popular demand. The Trilogy series includes: the Authentic Corojo, Exotic Maduro and the Native Cameroon. The blends were carefully selected to represent the Trilogy’s original flavor and aroma. All three cigars are handmade in Honduras by Plasencia Cigars.

Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.

This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
